How do you switch UNET region to allow players from different countries to play

Pretty much in the title, my game is running perfectly fine but I (USA) cannot connect to play with friends in the UK which is a pretty large issue IMO. Ive found that unity matchmaking servers are region locked which is fine but how do I allow clients to change the region they are connecting to in order to play with friends overseas.
