    Hi,

I'm new in Unity. I'm trying to find out how do you get the PreFab to appear in the hierarchy area.

Can anyone advise? Do you create the folder yourself, and drag the prefabs in?

    Thank you in advance!

So the "Hierarchy" is actually the scene objects and the area I think you're referring to your "Project" tab.

The prefab folder is just a normal folder named "Prefabs", you can have it named anything.

To create a prefab just drag the game object from the "Hierarchy" tab to the "Project" tab, you can drag it to any folder in there.

    Hope this helps!

No problem, as jbnlwilliams1 said, I'd recommend aswell checking out the learn.unity.com site as it has so many resources for learning unity especially if youre new to using it!
