I have tried googling this and I only came across ways to save Player Data for everything but web. How might I be able to save a players data so they can pick back up where they left off while online / websites.

PlayerPrefs should work for all web builds (including WebGL).

But if you're looking for a way to load data from any machine, you'll need a web server, a database, user accounts, and a javascript back-end to your game to connect to your server and write/read the player's information.

I've had to do this in a few small projects in the past so it's not too hard honestly. Are you sure though tht PlayerPrefabs work on the web? I've read they are for non-web only. But I may be wrong.

I use PlayerPrefs in both WebGL and WebPlayer games and haven't had problems.

If you don't want to create a user management and login service, or run databases and servers. You could take a look at GameUp. It's a game backend I'm working on which includes lots of different features needed by most games. The Cloud Storage feature will do what you need I think.

    Hope this helps. :)
