Simple dumb question ... I split the game view window the wrong way (horizontal not vertical) and now realise I don't know how to delete the pane I created.

EDIT -- Never mind, I found the "Join" command finally. D'oh!

I just did the same thing - split a pane and need to split it the other way. Where is this "Join" command of which you speak, and how do I use it to get rid of a pane?

Using a three button mouse I right clicked on the dividing area between the two panes and there are three commands ... the last one is "Join."

But what if you don't have a three-button mouse?

I'm using a laptop - with no mouse.

I'm on a new laptop as well. But use a Logitech mouse as needed.

Answer ... hold down the CTRL key and click on the dividing line between the panes. That brings up the choices; Split Left, Split Right, and Join.
