Unity's old input system is returning ±0.1 not ±1 with my mice (Logitech G600 and SteelSeries Aerox 9). I've tested with Unity 2022.3.5 and 2023.1.5 on Windows 11. The new input system is returning ±120. Aside from adding the new input system package and enabling both I haven't made any changes to the "3D" built-in template project.

I can confirm using 2023.2.0a22 and Input system 1.6.3 that this code now produces ±1 for the new input system. The behaviour of the old input system remains unchanged.

I'm confused, the changelog for version 1.6.3 of the Input System only says:
"

"
In fact none of the changelog entries seem to relate to this.
Is the fix going to be backported to Unity versions below 2023.2?

I would guess not. I think the fix itself is in the Unity Editor, but the package is also required.
