How do you get control of your mouse in Play mode?

I've seen people do this in a lot of the tutorials but they never explain how.
The person is demoing the game (Ctrl-P) or hitting the play button, but then they can click around in the inspector. When my camera is attached to a first person controller and I try and click something in the Inspector, the camera goes nuts.

How do they disconnect the mouse? I've tried Escape but no good.

    Thanks ahead of time :)

Don't know how they do it in your tutorials, but I typically just press the Windows key on the keyboard. That brings up the Start menu, which breaks your mouse out of whatever app/game had control over it. Works in pretty much everything, including any game you may be playing.

It worked but I think there's a cleaner solution. Himmm.

So for anyone asking, I figured it out. When you're in a normal camera mode then Escape breaks you out, but while in First Person, Escape doesn't work. You just move the mouse over to the inspector putting up with the camera moving.
