How do I write proper Hindi or similar language ?

    I suggest you downloading two things. First any hindi font from fonts.google.com or any other site. Then just go to settings find keyboard languages and add atleast one type. You can add all. Now go to unity and where you was writing using text mesh pro delete that. Use default unity text. Import the .ttf text that you downloaded. Now in text all you have to do to change the keyboard language and then write in text. Microsoft hindi keyboard is very good. You will found it correct.
    Note:- Only for windows I don't have mac or linux:rolleyes:

    Found a free work around for this problem for hindi text
    For me the problem was onli with "chhoti e ki matra "
    Just type it before the letter like
    ई क
    And unity will convert it to कि

    Mac users cn easily write chhot e ki matra using hindi text

    2021 and Unity still doesn't have native support for this...

    Unity doesn't seem to be inclusive by lefting out billions of people after all these years...
