here i've made an object at transformation (0,0,0) and set the grid to Origin from the Grid Visual menu but it still looks far above the object.

At first glance, you set in Pro Builder Shape size 1.42 units and scale it down in transform to 0.71 units. The script probably has some position correction system (at the bottom of the object). Set Y and Z to 1 and change the size in Pro Builder Shape to confirm if that works in such a way.

My conclusion is based on that regular 3D object cubic doesn't have such problems. On normal rules, the middle of the object will be at 0,0,0 (half above, and half below).

If not this script I could say it is because the game object is inside the hierarchy of another game object. But the relation between parent and child in the hierarchy you for sure know.

Thank you, it was this. I placed it inside a Game Object for organizational purposes. It's just nonsense they'd just give a newly created Game Object some random transform rather than just (0,0,0)
