How do I set additional parameters to my .unity so it runs in version of unity I want it to run?

    C:\..\Assets\GameScene.unity - parameter

    I want some to open in the new 2018 version and some in the old 2017 one. Is it possible to do it this way?

    I am using Rocket Dock's icon Target for this.

    .unity
    files are merely scene files. They aren't really meant to be opened directly from the file explorer.

    It's the project as a whole that is tied to a specific unity version. All scene files within the project are formatted according to the version of unity that the project is built in.

    I am not sure You've given me my answer, can you please clarify what you mean by that? So there is no way of doing it?

    I'm saying that what you're asking makes no sense because .unity files have no intrinsic version affinity themselves, and have nothing to do with what constitutes a 'project' to unity.
