How do I make my background?

    Hey,

    Me and my friends are total noobs at unity. I took the task upon me to make the background.
    We want to make a 2D game with an upper view (pokemon-ish). So what I thought I had to do was make a background in a program and the paste it into unity.

    If this is correct then what programm do I use to make the background with? Or am i missing something? Any good tips?

    Photoshop, GIMP, Krita etc.
    Or almost any other 2d program similar to these.
