Question How do i make an agent navigate to a position only using the distance and direction?

    The agent doesn't learn to use these observations which would make it's job significantly easier.

    It will move around combing the entire area until it spots the target with it's other sensors but refuses to use the distance and direction observations which would help it decide which direction it should start looking.

    observations are: agent's position (Vector3), direction to target (Vector3 normalized), distance from target (float normalized)
    and also 20 x 20 grid sensor.

    the grid sensor adds a lot of observations which is probably why it doesnt learn to rely more on the rest but how do i make it work so the agent starts moving with purpose and not just randomly look around until it happens to find the target with the sensor?
