How do I improve the colour or shading of the grass in my first scene attempt...

I've gotten to grips with general post processing and have made a pretty nice looking scene I think, the trouble is the grass in the example is a little too plae and lacking any colour.

Is there somebody who could suggest on how i could improve this? I want it to look a little more darker and greener given that the sun is setting in the scene.

    Thanks for any help :)

(p.s if anyone could tell me how i get rid of the shiny effect that the sun gives on my terrain, i want it smoother because the texture is grass and it appears metallic, although the metallic slider is down to zero.) Scene.jpg

Do the texture on your terrain have an alpha channel? try removing that channel and see if that helps.
