Question How do I get an animation to play on my title screen?

    Up front I just want to say if I don't know what I'm talking about it's because I'm relatively new with Unity. Only been working with it for about a month now. I've also never used the animator feature before now.

    I have 7 frames for an animation that I want to play on startup on my main menu screen of my game. I've gotten the animation to appear in the scene view but when I put it on my menu it only appears behind it and despite trying to move things around it would never show up in front of the rest of my menu. Now I can't even figure out how to get my animation to show up in the scene view! I've been researching this for hours and I can't find anything that can fix my problem. Here is a picture of my hierarchy:

    Here's a picture of my scene view. Notice how the rainbow colored text (1 of the frames of my animation) is behind the blue menu screen. help2.PNG


    Any help with this would be greatly appreciated!
