Question How can I turn on terrain surface shadows only for the "low quality" setting?

When on the lowest setting, the terrain looks absolute garbage. It IS indeed "low setting" but it shouldn't be THAT low. I don't need to enable any other kind of shadows except for the terrain. I couldn't see an option to enable this in quality settings, any clues on how I could enable it?

    I'm using 2022.3.5f1 with URP.

I think if you use baked in lighting, this shouldn't be a big issue, granted the low quality option has shadows on.
If you insist on using real time ligthing, then you could keep the shadow quality in the quality settings the same and make a script that when you set the quality settings to low, goes trough every object and disables shadow casting on their mesh renderer, except for the terrain.

    I use mixed.

The only option under "Shadows" in Quality Settings is "Shadowmask mode", I searched for this issue a lot but couldn't find anything.

I also need to change the shadow distance in medium/high quality level because they are way too short, but they seem hardcoded.

Are you using the default rendering pipeline or URP/HDRP? (Based on the available options it's URP or HDRP but asking just to be sure)

I already said I'm using URP.

Ah yeah, sorry, I missed that part.

You should look for this part on the Quality tab and click on whatever is set as the Render Pipeline Asset. It should bring you to the foldier in your assets that contains it. Click on the asset itself and you should be able to change the shadow settings on the inspector.
