Question how can I remove or turn off plastic scm?

    Hi! Can you share the errors you are getting?

    Are you in one of the supported versions to use Plastic SCM?

    Finally, you can disable Plastic from the Plugin pending changes view -> Config gear -> Turn off Plastic SCM for Unity.

    Also trying to figure this out. I want to turn it off / remove it from my project. No option to turn off plastic SCM for me, very annoying I have to say. Anyone got any info?

    What is your Version Control package version? It should be available with the latest one.

    I figured this out. Need to remove it from the package manager. Should be called version control or plastic scm or something like that

    NOT **SOLVED**

    Sorry I came back it was working until I restarted Unity then it was back again something got installed I suspect "Test Framework" but I can't get rid of that because I have only one button option in package Manager to upgrade to 1.1.33 when I upgrade I can then Remove!
    But When I restart the project the earlier vers in back with the Upgrade option.

    It seems very similar to the bloatware you get on mobile phones..


    This problem was beginning to annoy me too and thanks to DemonGamesLab I began "Removing" preinstalled apps I don't use but it was removing Version Control that fixed it

    It was braking my conectration I am a "Code a bit n Test" Itterative programmer and that 2 seconds was doing my head in

    I think everytime you change code it does some assembly it's just with all these addOns add up so adding a space to a line of code is like 2 seconds recomiling assemblies etc.
    Now it takes a blink of an eye to do Problem Solved

    Hi @nomax5, so you uninstalled the Version Control plñugin and you still have a problem?
    Can you let us know the details?

    I guess we can confirm at least that the problem was not related to the Version Control package.
