    Go play Rockband?

In all seriousness, use the default additive particle shader with a gradient bitmap.

Is that it? No bloom/blur/specular magic or anything?

I tried using the Additive shader but it's far from good. Maybe I'm missing something?

I've attached a package that might give you a bit of a starting point. The main thing with the particles/additive shader is that it is quite sensitive to the colours you use. To get a glowing yellow line, try using quite a dark yellow particle texture, blurred with a slightly lighter centre. You can reduce the size of the ellipsoid emitter so that the particles essentially come out in a line. You will probably need to experiment with the settings of the particle system to get the exact effect you want, but it should basically be a sound approach.

Many thanks andeeee.Im going to try something with this package. The concept of using a dark color will surely help me.
