How are bug reports from unsupported Linux distributions treated (compared to supported ones)?

Since I am using Fedora, I'm curious how the bug reports made using unsupported distributions are being treated. Are they considered lower priority, are they not considered at all, or is that determined on a case-by-case basis?

Depending on the answer to the above, would it be worth redoing existing bug reports using a distribution which is officially supported (and if so, what should be done about the old report)?
