Houdini as main DCC?

    Just wondering who is using Houdini as their main DCC? It seems to have a lot of cool components ideally suited to making games, although it also seems to be a little tricky in places and confusing.

    The game view simulations and procedural tools are a big draw, although what's it like to live with as a box modeller / animation tool? IMO it has to do the bread and butter stuff the best.

    I'm using it :) Switched from Blender :) Last year was full of updates to game development tools shelf - and it's just getting better and better.
    From standard poly modeling, texturing etc. to fx and all this procedural stuff and Houdini Engine at the end :)
    But yet I'm not using 10% of what it's capable :)

    Of course this standard poly modeling can be easily done like in other apps. Same for character animations (IMO even better because of autorigs :)
