Hoofit Racing is a wacky fun all ages mobile racing game made by a team of 2 from the ground up. Sporting single or multiplayer online ostrich racing.

Honestly we started this game 4 years ago and there was a gap of more than a year where neither of us worked on it, it takes some otherworldly dedication to stick with a project over the long term let me tell you. Initially we planned to have an Ostrich, Buffalo, and Kangaroo, but by the time the Ostrich was completed we realized how much effort it entails to create all these characters, and we decided to go forward with just the Ostrich for the first release and see if people even like the game at all before spending a whole bunch more of our unpaid free time . That was 3 years ago. Then I dusted it off earlier this year and have been pounding it out ever since.

This looks great on all accounts! Visually very nice and game play looks solid. And just a very interesting idea on top of it all. Nice work!

Agree with GarBenjamin, the concept looks fun and the gameplay looks solid.

    A couple minor critiques -
The Ostrich feet are funny looking. It would improve the look if they resembles actual Ostrich feet more closely. If your not into updating the model to make the feet look more accurate - you might consider adding some boots/tennis shoes to the models so the shape looks correct. Plus that could be a little bit funny. It could also distinguish the different Ostrich mounts. Instead of selecting a couple different colors for each Ostrich each one could have a different pair of shoes. ;)

The other visual critique I was going to mention was all the Ostrich look the same. Giving each a slight color variation would solve this, or different colored shoes as mentioned above.

There are some very noticeable foot sliding when the Ostrich jumps and lands. Correcting this would improve the visual fidelity of the experience.

    Nice work on release!
