Question HingeJoint motor won't move?

    I've built a triped NPC using a collection of Rigidbodies, Fixed Joints, and Hinge joints. It works well when I'm playing around with it in the editor, but when I turn on the motors, they get stuck unless I give a ridiculous target velocity like 500f. I set the motor force to Infinity, so I know it's not that the rest of the the model is too heavy.

    Things I've tried:
    • Made sure the script was actually updating the status of the motor
    • Messed around with the configurations of joints
    • Changed the masses of all the rigidbodies to make it so the motor was basically pulling nothing
    • Called WakeUp() on all the other rigidbodies in the model

    Does anyone have any insight as to what I could be doing wrong? Or is the way I'm trying to make the NPC in the first place wrong, and I should approach it in a different fashion? I can post scripts and pictures of what I have if this doesn't make sense.
