Hi, I'm new here to unity and to this forum! I started working on this game not that long ago following a tutorial to help me get a better understanding and to learn a bit more about unity. I created this little game where your spaceship is moving through obstacles and trying to get to the platform on the other side of all the platforms. The game is almost complete, but it needs a nice addition to it, a high score. I've tried playing around with multiple tutorials and videos on youtube, but I can't find what im looking for and i dont understand them as much. Can anyone help me with this?

So basically what i'm trying to accomplish is:

1.Score starts to incrementally go up when player starts the first level.
2.When player completes the level, the current score displayed moves to the next level and starts there.
3.When the player finishes all 5 levels, then the total score displays in the end from all the levels.
    4.apply to leaderboard

    or an alternate route maybe:

1.restart score at every level but save to file
2.add all the scores up in the end for a final result
    3.apply to leaderboard.

also, im still new to all this so an explanation to learn would be priceless, and thank you guys so much.
