Hidden Mobile Input

I'm using TextMeshPro input filed.
"Hide Mobile Input" worked for me. But I got another strange issue. When I use "Hide Mobile Input", the text field is just there but invisible, so it is preventing the button from receiving the event (which is right behind the invisible duplicate text field).

Just thought I would check if this was still an issue after more than a year of first encountering this, but it's still an issue... Why is this so hard to fix? The issue tracker has been marked as resolved even though the recommended Unity version still has this problem.

Any news on this? It's an annoying bug.

 

I'm using TextMeshPro input filed and "Hide Mobile Input" worked for me too. Mobile Input is not shown, but it is jsut transparent. When I touch the area where Transparent Mobile Input would be, it makes the UI in the back untouchable. How can I fix this?
