Hey, I have been using Unity for a while now and I would like to start working with all of you on this project. But I have some questions. Currently I don't see any available tasks that I can work on, they are all taken. Can I submit new idea's/mechanics/todo's myself? Or when will there be more todo's available so I can start contributing too?

    Hey JelleVos!

This! We are currently establishing the foundations for the game, so the small granular tasks are not in yet. But don't worry, they will be.

What is your specialty? Are you a programmer? Designer?...

I am a programmer. I am looking forward to seeing new tasks being created so I can pick some up!

Hi! I am pretty new to Unity and want to help too. I decided that a good place to start would be the particles, since they look easy enough, but I am no artist. Once I start working on bigger things I want to be a programmer, but for now, I can do particles. I saw no thread for the effects though. Where would I sign up for making one of those? I have already been working on a fire particle, and I don't know if you would want to see it before I start to see what I can do.

I was thinking about making a fire particle, but I don't know where to ask (in fact I have already made it).

@Junglerally there is a Particle Effects Thread where you could share your work and contribute to the discussion.

    Some help for newcomers:
You can always take a look at the roadmap here and see where else you could contribute: any card that has a black Unity icon is assigned to the Unity’s team and if it’s blue it is for the community to work on and it will provide you with a link to the analogous thread discussion. However, no one actually tells you not to do anything, so if something is already being worked on but you still want to go through the process yourself, that’s still a great way to learn and a great way to contribute to the discussions. There are many tasks to come ahead, so if you can't find something to work on for now, it would still be useful to find the analogous thread that interests you and keep up with/join the discussions there.
There are also biweekly livestreams that can help you keep up with the project in general and get many of your questions answered live. You can find the first one here.
