Hello there! Sorry for the submarine stealthy mode. Pretty busy porting all the models library over to a new upcoming marketplace. Was a pain but it's now done. Centaur is pretty much ready for release!

A web player is available to check it out in real time. It has a lot of animations, mostly variations according to stand, walk, trot or gallop. Attack animation cover bare hands, spear and bow.
    WEB PLAYER LINK

Centaur should be available this week end! ($30) Stay tuned
    Cheers :)

Can we vote on the creatures that is in the pack or do you have them planned already?

@ imtrobin: hey there, creature are already planned ( see first post, p1) unless you want to vote for the one that should be next from that list. Not sure to understand what you meant. Was planning on creating the gorgon next.

would be cool if you provide different shape of the creature and submit a vote to you user to choose the final design of your next creature, if its not to much to ask
(ps i missed your scifi creatures, i would buy them if you introduced the pack early like this one at 150$!)

Totally understand customers want to know more precisely what the next creatures would look like. A text description is pretty informative but indeed, a picture- concept art of what is envisioned would give a better indication. After Centaur is released the first post of this thread will be updated with concept art of the next add-ons to come.
    @nasos_333: thank you! :)

ok. I didn't see the list. I'm not too keen on dwarf, elf, bettle, scorpion etc. They are very common.

For e.g the giant bat is basically the same as the vampire bat from Part 1 series, except with wings. I requested you to add wings back then in part 1 and you refused.

indeed adding those wings would have been a total rework of the model. Models have some big differences though, in the geometry and the rig . Maybe you didn't notice them. As for the creatures list, common creatures are usually something that a lot of developers want to have. In the volume 1 nobody complained about goblin, ogre, orc etc...
If you guys have some creatures that are not listed and you think would fit better into the pack, feel free to leave a comment. Maybe some other customers would like to have these done as well instead of some that were planned.

Is Unity changing its marketplace ? Or are you on about a completely different platform, such as UE4 ?

Yep. On the upcoming UE4 marketplace that should be up and running in a few weeks. Only one last thing to do for that and it's done on my end.

@Rajmahal , glad you like the work done on the centaur. hope the others to come will please you as well.

I added 3 concepts to the list in the first post: Kraken, hellrot and undertaker. A lot of the characters in that list are something pretty common that we can all figure out ( dwarf, dark elf, hobbit, gnome, giant scorpion, giant beetle) some are more tricky and a concept would indeed indicate the art direction I'm heading to on top of the short text description: Hippogriff, basilisk, volcrate, automate, barghest, witch, darkness knight.

Hippogriffe looks a bit too much like a horse, maybe the tail should be a lizard's tale or have lizards scales in body ?

    Just a suggestion :)

Thanks for the comment Nasos_333: it's something I was also thinking.

Gorgon is on its way to completion, model is currently modeled, unwrapped, rigged and skinned ( need some few polish here), soon texturing and animation. A contract work might be on the way as well, model should be ready in the middle of next week if everything is going well.
Here is a WIP render of the Gorgon. If some of you guys think creatures should have a bow let me know. Geometry is already a little bit high ( nothing crazy but still 19 Ktris and 222 bones to take care of everything smoothly) I highly recommend not using this model on mobile devices and as a creature -oss on its own.

Started using your models in my current project and they are great. I used cruncher to bring down the polygon count and reduced the texture size and they seem to work well on mobile.

What do you plan to work on after the gorgon? I'm eager to see either your dwarf or hobbit, personally. If you're doing the hobbit, could you add some cool "thief" style animations like reaching down to lay traps, throwing an object, pickpocket, etc?

hey guys! Sorry for the delay on the Gorgon. freelance gig went on the way and mess up the schedule for its release. What I can say is that it's pretty much totally textured. Animation wise just need to create one other animation: the statueFreeze one and do some fixes in the crawling one. it should be ready soon.
Again all apologies for the delay on that one.
    Next will be Kraken...

Gorgon has been released on the asset store. The creatures pack volume 2 is currently being processed. Price has been raised to$ 175. If you need that pack I'd recommend purchasing it right now before the price is updated, you'd save an additional $25.
For those who purchased from PROTOFACTOR STORE, download links will be sent this afternoon ( PACIFIC time).

Lovely ... can't wait to play around with it. Really looking forward to the dwarf as well. Do you intend to have a few helmet / armour / weapon options for the dwarf so as to make a few different looking dwarfs from the character?

I thought a Kraken will look like a scary big octopus but this look like a lobster.

Please, look up wikipedia. It's a crossing between a giant crustacean and a giant octopus.
