(HELP)

How do i create a RTS?

I would like to add players attributes, Different units, Resource gather points and a way for them to go from your base to the gather node, Also enemy AI. Basic AI .

How would I create a fun RTS?
Maybe a munu to add and drop buildings if you have enough resources.

 

That's a pretty broad question. If you're expecting someone to write up a huge tutorial that will cater specifically to your request then you'd be wrong.

Look up tutorials and make small, simple games, anything that will help you get comfortable in Unity, then when you're confident you can begin to tackle the larger project with your own knowledge.

 

And I thought this was a joke and nobody would answer (if the question is not a joke, I apologize - in that case what Blacklight said)

 

Look up "cooking with unity" by PushyPixels. It's on iTunes podcasts, might be on YouTube too. They have a C# RTS tutorial series.

You put tanks in a scene and a terrain. Then in a script, call the magicallyDoEverything() function and it should work

 

Hide under your bed and piss in cupboards. Its the best way.
