    Hello all!

I think this is actually my first thread, but that aside I've been developing a Wii U game for the fun of it using Unity 2017. It's a basic shooting game in the style of Point Blank that I've been working on casually for a few months now. Here's an old video:

So my question is: Does anyone know how to get Unity to compress to GCADPCM audio so I can play sounds out of the gamepad and remotes? I know it can be set as an Override for the Wii U, but the problem I've got is that Unity itself pulls some errors when I try to set the encoding and the file becomes an unknown:

Assertion failed: GetObject failed to find Object for Library Representation
    UnityEngine.GUIUtilityprocessEvent(Int32, IntPtr)

Errors during import of AudioClip Assets/Resources/GunshotGCAD.wav:
FSBTool ERROR: Encoder for chosen format is not supported on this platform.
FSBTool ERROR: Encoder for chosen format is not supported on this platform.

    UnityEngine.GUIUtilityprocessEvent(Int32, IntPtr)

I gather that the issue has to do with Unity having the necessary libraries to read the file that it's created, and the few things I've found suggest with turning off my virus checker (which doesn't work) or loading additional libraries (which seems to be a Unity feature that got scrubbed from 2017). Any assistance here is welcome!

As another question: When I do get this game developed to my liking how could I release it to the community? I'm big on getting fun, free stuff, out for everyone to enjoy!

Isn't all Nintendo development behind an NDA and require development kits and appropriate licenses?

To that end, isn't there a specific Nintendo forum (not this forum) for development related questions?

I don't believe anyone can help you here as it's probably illegal for them to do so.
