Question Help with transfering animation from generic to mechanim

    Hey everyone. So I'm working on a full body VR character, using physics. Following my VR controllers is a hand; with bones, colliders but the mesh is not showing. Then on my full body mesh the hands follow the same position and rotation as the controllers hands. So the idea is that the full body hands are in the same position as the controller hands. The hands use generic animation. The full body uses mechanim. How can I get the hand animation to play on the mechanim skeleton too? I tried to use layers, with a weight of 1 and additive, but that didnt work. Any thoughts would be helpful. Thanks!
