When I'm trying to paint on prefabs using the Polybrush, they float above the surface. I've checked the models and the bottom of them does correspond to (0,0,0).

In the screenshot I'm painting on a blender model, but even when I just make a new Sphere object I get the same problem. I've also tried just using a cube created in Unity but again I get the same result.

    Any ideas?

Hi, does your surface have a scale of 1,1,1? Sorry, there's a known bug with that.

I had the same issue and found nothing on the web, but check the Use Pivot box solved it for me:
