Hello, I'm brand new to Unity, and I apologize if I'm posting this in the wrong place, or if there is already an existing thread explaining the issue I'm having, but my grasp on the terminology is poor enough that I haven't been able to find anything relating to it. I'm following a basic tutorial on making a top down 2D game using free assets. The free sprite pack comes with walk up, walk down, and walk right PNGs. The tutorial says to use photoshop or paint.net to switch the sprite images horizontally to make a walk left image series. I've tried both paint.net and photoshop and whenever I import the flipped images back into unity, unity is saying they're compressed. Specifically 32x32 RGBA Compressed DXT5, where the original images show up as 32x32 RGBA 32bit. I've literally spent over 5 hours trying to find a solution to this problem. I've tried saving the images as for web use, interlaced, and not interlaced. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
    Thanks

At the bottom of the Unity Editor's image importer, there should be a box with a dropdown labeled "Compression."

Change that from "Normal Quality" to "None."
