Help with complex 2.5D state machine.

    Hi guys I'm working on a 2.5D project where the player is a 2D character animated in a 3D environment. I'm a student and previously the only thing I made with unity is a very simple platformer with side view animations walk,jump,death which wasn't very confusing and worked just fine.

    However because this is in orthographic view I have created my animations at 3/4 view front and back (front going down the screen and back going up the screen)
