    Hello;

    Im new to Unity/Gamedeveloping in general , just starting to do some tutorials and stuff. Im working in my own proyect while i learn, to get some practice.

    The idea behind my proyect is simple, is a 2d game with the camera looking down from the sky, not from the side.
    And im having some basic problems im sure are easy to fix.

    For example, i noticed that if i set my proyect to 2D, it uses the y and z axes, there's some way to use the z,x axes?.

    Could be an option to make a 3D enviroment and use 2d sprites for animations? (makes sense becouse i will be using a top-down view).

    Its just easier for me right now to do spritesheets and keep doing some progress while i learn maya/blender.

    Thanks in advance,
    Cheers.

    You can leave it as it is & set gravity to 0 or you can do a 3D project & set the camera to orthographic. That's basically what i do.
