    Hi guys,

I have an issue in the devellopement of our software.

Before the 5.1.3 It was possible to display gui text on the border's coin of the camera and those gui where not visible in the rift's screen.

Now, due to the changes of the 5.1.3 it's impossible to "cheat" with the border, our gui is visible in the rift.

As our software require to show different informations between the monitor and the rift, it's a very big "issue" to solve.

Can anyone help me to display different content between the monitor and the rift's screen ?

Heh, I just asked about a similar thing:

So I'm very interested in an answer! I hope there's a better Unity solution out there (even if I have to wait), but right now, I'm using OVRMirror (linked to in my post above) to render a different camera to a popup window. Basically, you'd have a different camera render to a render target, and have your GUI calls render to that render target (Using "RenderTarget.active" in your OnGUI calls). You can then attach the OVRMirror script to that new camera.

This is likely less efficient for you (in my case, I'm rendering a totally different camera to the monitor, but in your case, you just want to add content to an existing camera, which should be cheaper). But if you need to be unblocked, it's something!
