I'm looking for a network solution for physic-based coop puzzle game. Current plan is to use one client as host and other (up to 3) clients will join to that host. And dedicated server will be used just for lobby/matchmaking (but there is a chance to use steam friends api instead of dedicated server - not sure yet). It will be good to find a solution with "ok" documentation/usability and not too expensive for indie. At this moment I've found multiple solutions but not sure what to choose: Unet is going to die soon; Photon is pretty expensive; Forge, DarkRift and GameSparks looks fine and idk what to choose, any suggestions?
