Help me: dont know how to update unity without admin rights to get assets from the assets store

    Because of admin privileges, i have downloaded a random unity engine off the internet
    and have absolutely have no idea how to update the engine to get assets from the unity
    assets store

    If anyone knows how i can get assets from the store or how to upgrade it without admin privileges,
    please let me know

    My unity version is extremely outdated back to 3.5.3f3

    i cannot use the installer because of administrator Privilages

    Only way around that would be to actually go on the administrator's account, as I don't know any installer that doesn't lead to that one.

    ooo ooo, i have an idead, if somebody could possible download and install the installer to their desktop and then with the unity that was downloaded from the installer, convert it to a downloadable file at www.mediafire.com and send me the download link in a reply?

    why don't ask the admin to install it then if you don't have admin rights? asking people to upload 1gb of data butchered out of official version every time you need to update is not a good idea

    if you cant get the admin to install it then sounds you are doing something that you shouldn't

    Particularly since it's against the EULA. Downloading Unity from a non-official source is somewhat unwise anyway...you don't know for sure what's actually there. And yeah, the correct solution is to have admin rights. If you don't have those, then talk to the person who does.

    Im not supposed to be downloading unity because my father (admin holder0 doesn't relive
    unity is safe :(

    I wanna to install the unity on a public library computer
    I have admin problem can anybody shoe me with pictures

    No. Only the owner of the computer can do that. That's the only and final answer, so I'm locking this topic now.
