I have a core i3 hp laptop with Intel 3000 Graphics. Windows 8.1. Unity works fine with it.

Unity can also run on a little netbook although a bit slowly.

Recently I got a HP Pavillion, with a 2Gb dedicated video card. The laptop is great, however... the screen is only 15.6. Believe me, it's hardly ok for Unity. What I do is use my desktop monitor (23") and the laptop screen.

You can start by typing and spelling your words properly. Maybe we can really be of assistance. But I'm thinking that you should make a greater effort first. It makes it hard to take you seriously if you use text speak on a professional forum like this one. Yes, I know people type on phones and tablets - I do too. But that's really no excuse.

Also, one thing. Unity's system requirements really don't mean anything. If you want to create anything really cool, (and you probably do, otherwise why be here?) then you'll need a nice machine. Dedicated video cards are a must. Honestly, both those laptops will be okay for basic stuff. If you want to go really heavy I'd suggest investing in a desktop computer.

English is not my first or even second laungage, so please excuse any errors that may lead to total misunderstandings of what i was trying to ask.

Oh wait, you still understood the questions..

Something with at least 1920x1080 screen resolution. A 15.6" screen is fine at that resolution (subjective opinion).

I have an HP 15-j171nr laptop, and HP is currently running a deal in march with no interest and no payments for 12 months if you spend more tan $900 (6 months for anything under $900). You can customize one for less than what I paid for mine (~$1064 with shipping), but I needed mine asap (so had to go pre-built and next business day shipping).

I currently use mine for Unity, UDK and Blender.

EDIT: No idea if HP's deal is available outside of the US though.

You talked about this being a professional forum, well being rude to newcomers isn't professional if you ask me, also not everyone here has english as first language.

I just purchased one today myself, I got a new Sony Intel i5 with 8GB Ram and 1 TB HD for just $380 (Steal of a deal!)

If however I spent solid cash, ALIENWARE laptop hands down, it's the industry standard in gaming laptops and is even used in many Game Development College Programs! :)

    Hope that helps!

    God Bless!

Not sure about the second laptop, as I can't access the page, but the ASUS's GPU and CPU are woefully underpowered. They'll work with Unity, but you can get better in that price range. I'd avoid it.

I have an Alienware 14. Pretty much the only thing that I could find period that had Windows (7!), portability, and good performance. If you don't care about portability though, just find the laptop with the most powerful GPU you can afford. The CPU and RAM will follow suit. I've yet to see a single laptop where the GPU wasn't the bottleneck for gaming.

This is by far the best site for laptop research: http://www.notebookcheck.net/.
Incredibly in depth reviews on the laptops AND various CPU's and GPU's.

Finally, Unity runs pretty well on virtually anything. I used to have an i3 with a 5650m and 4 GB of RAM. Worked fine. :)

I bought a refurbished Samsung for $400 on amazon and am very happy with it.
Refurbished is the way to go; it essentially cuts the price in half.

But whatever you do, just make sure you get a Korean brand!!
    Seriously.

Japanese and American brands are designed to break and packed with wormy bloatware.

Some good Korean brands are Asus, Acer, and Samsung.

A modern i5 with the newest Intel Graphics HD (4000?) is enough...be aware that many example web player builds you'll see links to in the Asset Store and in the forums strain even the newest dual video card rigs from Alienware and such but if your target is mobile such an Intel i5 is more than enough. Even if you are going for Windows / Mac PCs then you should consider that enough - the average games does not buy a new Alienware PC / Apple PC every year and that's less likely now with all the 'smartphone' / 'tablet' expenses they are likely spending money on.

The bigger thing is you want a mini-HDMI output from your laptop and a HD monitor at least 24" with HDMI input. I use a Bluetooth mouse keyboard but then my laptop has no keyboard.

Look on Amazon.dk to find the best deal but you can get what you need for likely less than $700 USD, whatever the exchange rate is with Kroners nowadays.

Anyone who is running a Webplayer that doesn't run on integrated graphics is making a huge mistake, I think Nvidia was taking the option to use a high performance card away from web browsers which means for any new computer its not an option.
