Help! Input System 1.0.0 Not Listening

I am trying to configure key bindings, but when I enter a key, it doesn't respond with a binding - just auto-responds with functions that include the key letter. Additionally, no keybindings are populating in the drop down list either. What is happening and how can I fix this???

Note: I do have Keyboard included as a Supported Device.
