Hi guys, I am currently working on an AR project.
We are to animate a tank filling up and emptying on trigger.
The animation will be something similar to what can be seen here :

I am a total noob in Unity (sorry! still trying to learn) , and much more in programming.
But I would be willing to study whatever it takes to make it possible.

I will be doing the tank models in 3DSMax.

Now..I am still clueless as to how to do that animation in Unity.

I heard that Unity can import animations from 3DSMax, but, is it the best option?

Will it be possible to do it directly inside Unity?

Hope you can help me. I'm really crunched up with a tight deadline for this next month,
and I've tried searching the web or youtube but couldn't find the most suitable answer.
Any tip will surely really be appreciated.
