    Hello,
I am trying to create a game kind of like bejeweled, but with seashells and some other different things. I am just a teenager who was hoping to make this game and learn along the way. However, i have had a lot of trouble finding decent tutorials and have even gone through the pain of watching a tutorial in Portuguese in order to make this game! When I play the game all sorts of weird stuff tends to happen. Such as the sprites getting out of line , no sprites appearing after others disappear, and a few other things. I am not the best at coding and only did what I saw in the few tutorials I could find. If anyone has built a game like bejeweled before or knows of some really helpful tutorials please reply! I hope you can withstand my lack of knowledge about coding or the unity program. Thank you for all of your reply's!! Any tips and hints are appreciated as well!

First, welcome to the community! We're glad you're here. Unity rocks, and you rock for trying to actually do something instead of just playing games all day.

That said, this isn't a game design question, so it doesn't really belong in this forum; it'd probably be better suited to the Getting Started forum.

My advice: don't worry about creating your bejeweled-like game at first... instead, try to create 10 "demos" or little partial games that teach you some aspect of Unity. Spend a week on one, then abandon it and start another one. Yes, I'm actually recommending a short attention span in this case. There are a gazillion Unity tutorials out there, from space shooters to platformers to tank games, and even things like the Unity event tutorial in my sig. Nobody can do them all... but you should try!

Later, a few months or a year from now, come back to your Bejeweled game (if it still seems interesting) and you'll be in a much better position to tackle it then.

    Good luck and have fun!
