Search Unity

help connecting to my server

    sorry i know this has likely been asked a lot but I'm fairly new to anything multiplayer and couldn't find anything with search, some advice from you guys may help alot.

    forgot to mention i'm trying to use the smartfox unity api.

    i'm using the basic connection code from the example:
    I've got my smart fox server running, but when i attempt to connect through unity i get no message at all being shown.

    if i attempt to change the port to something incorrect like say 9289, i'll get a message that says "Can't connect!", but when it's correct it won't say any message at all where i'd expect it to say "Connection succesfull!".

    furthermore if i attempt to use one of the other examples with a lobby built in, it will attempt to connect to the lobby, but then say connection lost.

    anyway have any clues to why it may be doing this?

    seems it's just the fact that i was trying to use smartfox server lite, basic seems to be required.

    Right, basic or pro is required if you want to work with Unity + SFS

    Good thing is that even SFS Pro is free up to 20 users
