Hey all. The game I'm working on uses animations from several different creators. Unfortunately, some of them don't combine particularly well. For example, the gun game object on my player character is well-positioned with the aim animation I'm using. However, when the player character transitions back to an idle animation (from a different creator), the gun isn't in the appropriate position. It's floating next to the hand. Is there a tidy way to deal with such issues? While transitioning to an idle animation, would lerping the gun's rotation and position to the appropriate values work? Or is there a simpler solution I just haven't thought of? Any help is appreciated.
