Search Unity

HELP ASAP

    I’ve been getting this error for 2 days now and I don’t know what to do. I contacted unity and they don’t know either. We tried moving the unitylinker.exe somewhere else then moving it back, I tried uninstalling and reinstalling unity, nothing. I’m building for uwp

    Check if you have antivirus enabled, try disabling it, if it helps, exclude the folder which shows access denied.

    Ok, I’m really new to unity and don’t know how to do a lot of the stuff, I know how to disable the antivirus but how do you exclude the folder where it shows access denied? (Sorry if this is a silly question)

    This setting should exist in most antivirus program, I am not familiar with your antivirus, so you'll need to search for this yourself.

    So I disable my antivirus, what would this do tho? Is it thinking it’s a virus or?

    Did it help? The problem here is, antivirus might lock a file for a small period of time for scanning purposes, but that's enough for Unity to throw an error, that it can't access that file.
