Hello everyone, I'm sorry if this topic has been answered in the past but it's quite urgent. We're hired by a company whom wanted to build a mobile app game however we stumbled upon some problems and in-need of help since the company doesn't have knowledge on Unity.

    1. Company has 1 PC with UnityPro License
    2. Our two coders are not local and they don't have UnityPro
    3. We require some assets is it possible for them to work by simply signing in their UnityBasic version and work with the assets?
    4. The assets will be installed in the PC with UnityPro license
My apologies if this was asked before.

The answer is that it depends.

*someone with more experience should verify this*
Nowadays, most features in Unity are available in the free version, so you should be ok without a pro license. If you're not ok, you'll find out almost immediately, as you're likely to get a compile error as soon as you open the project, if not when you press play.

Assets usually state which versions they work in right on the Asset store page so check out their descriptions to see what you need. legally speaking, you'll want to have one license per developer for each asset you use, unless otherwise specified by the asset's creator.

Thanks for the reply, we'll try and see whether it's possible or not. It's certainly frustrating when everything is going smoothly and something like this happens.

By the lisence you can't intergrate content built with two different lisence versions. So everyone needs to upgrade to pro.

Asset store lisences can be shared by a company at a single geographical location. Which means you will have to buy multiple copies of the assets to comply.

It sucks, but that's how it's written.
