    Hey there, I do apologize if this is the wrong forum, I just wanted to introduce myself. My name is Michael and I'm 22 years old, I'm going to school to become a game programmer. I haven't taken any classes yet, but I downloaded Unity to get a head start before I do. So, hey everyone!

    Welcome aboard. You've already passed the first test in my book, so you might actually make it.

    As a head start with Unity go over to the learn section and start watching stuff. It's entirely possible for you to have a game up and running and launched on a web portal like kongregate before your first class.
