    i am new to this, so dont mind, but can you upload an downloadable demo.... just a simple demo with health bar. thanx in advance....

    Hey! I've tried to solve this problem with classic Unity GUI and I think I did well :) Check out the demo slide 7. Done with 2 at least textures (background and bar) and no nibble effect at the edges.

    On top of that you can change color dynamically, fill direction, and add some neat effects :) You can find the asset here.
    Edit: due to asset store failure the asset will be not available for a few days :-(
    Edit2: everything is back to normal :)
