I am making a game where you stand in one spot and you can turn around in a circle. There is a fire by you and I want it to make a fire sound coming out of one of the headphone's depending on where you are standing? Do you get what I mean? It's sort of like 3d sound effects from your headphones.

Make sure your audio files aren't set as 2D, and assign it to an audio source on (in your example) the fire. By default all audio files are 3D.

So that's all you have to do to make it have a 3d sound effect? :D Thanks!
By the way, do you know where to get a fire crackling sound anywhere?

Well it's a really cheap spatial audio solution, but it gets the job done. Well, at least if you're only interested in differentiating between left and right.

I wonder whether we'll ever see HRTF in Unity. That would make my day.
