Question HDRP Volumetric Fog Particle block is missing Mask settings?

    In the roadmap for Generate Volumetric fog with VFX Graph particles it says "Volumetric Fog Output for VFX Graph has landed in Unity 2023.1.a25!"

    it shows a great looking effect and a block like this:

    I've tried 2023.1.9f1 and 2023.2.0a22, and in both versions the block looks like this:

    It's missing the Mask property, so the output is only sphere shapes, which isn't very useful. Do I have the wrong version or is this feature incomplete?

    Any info on this? I'd really like to get this working. Should I submit a bug report?

    Hi @adsilcott,
    Have you tried enabling the mask from the inspector? There should be a property named "Use Mask Map".
    To avoid cluttering the UI, some properties are only visible from the inspector.

    Thank you! It's funny because I'm often enabling normal maps and other particle options in the inspector but it just didn't occur to me to check that.
