Hello, I am trying to figure out why my lightmaps are not generating on another UV map on my mesh. I have a static mesh that is being used for an environment. It uses a tiled material (roots, if you will) for a terrain model. The tiling is changed from the default 1x1 to 5x5.

Normally in my experience, Lightmaps dont tile with the textures, but when I bake the lighting, the lightmap is also tiled with the materials' 5x5, and can be set back to normal if I set it back to 1x1, (or relatively speaking). I hope that I'm not blind and just simply overlooking something, because I don't see any error or warning logs about any complications.

I have tried checking and unchecking generate lightmap UVs on the mesh import settings, recreating the mesh, and even tried baking lights on those meshes in another project. I have also tried using different shaders, which seemed like it did something at first, but it was just a false positive.
The models are optimized, and there's no overlapping UV's (Which i dont think matters considering it has generate lightmap UV's on). I have searched everywhere for answers, but nothing good came of it. So I decided to bring my problem here. (which no one else seemed to have this problem from what I could scour for).

My Project is running on HDRP, and i have not had this issue on the URP (So I think it's something I may need to turn on possibly?). I am using HDRP/Lit as the "standard shader" for most of my models, including the one I have the issue with. I will provide screenshots if necessary.

Thank you to those that try and help solve this problem, it means a lot!

(Also sorry about posting this issue in another forum, I just didn't notice that there was a forum for graphical inquiries until now :p)

    Hello,
I don't remember having ever encountered such issue, indeed some screenshots of the rendering/material/mesh settings and the view + maybe a small zip with a reproduction project would help identify what is happening.

Thanks for responding, I actually found out that there was no error at all.

It was just some confusion with my Metallic map on the material, it made it look like the lightmaps were tiling instead of the actual mapping :p. Long story short I mistook My metallic map for light mapping issue, and once i adjusted my metallic mapping I saw the original lightmaps baked onto the mesh :)
