The shadows in the TerrainLit shader has no proper opacity and ambient color!

Where the proper shadowing on terrain using the LayeredLit shader is:

The scene is in Unity 2018.3.0b5 & HDRP 5.0.0

    Hello,

Thanks for reporting, a bug has been submitted to the devs.

Also, as stated on the github page, the master branch (HDRP 5.0.0 right now) is meant for development and we don't recommend using it with publicly available versions of Unity :)

@Remy_Unity Thanks for the follow up. Can't stop touching these beauties :D

@hippocoder The link to the images were coming from the other thread you made the clean up and so are broken now, as I deleted them from my computer, let me know if it is needed to upload new ones again ;)

I don't see original post images at all (maybe hippocoder sees them through browser cache or something?).

It is just a bit of random terrain, where the shadow has no indirect lighting.
