Hi, I ran into an issue with HDRP when using slightly bright textures like white pebbles or sand.
The screen in the editor starts flickering black, and if I press play the screen will turn black if I look into the direction where I painted the "cursed" texture.
I'm asking for help because I just spent 2 hours googling and reading every similar thread but I cant find any answers.
I'm including two screenshots, one of a working texture (tree roots) and another which doesn't (pebbles)
You can see the selected textures in the panel on the right.
    Thank you <3

Could it be that it's simply too bright, and so the exposure of the camera is getting reduced to compensate? What happens if you make the texture darker?

nothing would change, so I downgraded to 2019.4 and now everything works as it should

It happend to me in HDRP unity 2021.3.11f1.

As a workaoround I replaced some other textures form the terrain and works. There is nothing worng with the texture that makes all screen black, My guess is there must be a limitation on the number of textures applied to a terrain.

    I hope this helps someone!
    cheers!!
