HDRP Lit: Opaque vs Transparent polycount difference

    Hello, Im trying to pinpoint what is causing a difference in polycount between the opaque and transparent version of HDRP Lit. I noticed that it's doubling the polycount when set on Opaque. Tried to disable/enable options inside the shaders but I saw no difference.

    Double sided is deactivated. Any idea?

    Opaque:

    Triangles are counted during the shadowmapping pass, and transparent objects don't cast shadows.
